Sailing in Sardinia

Chartering a yacht or catamaran, with or without a skipper, gives you the chance of a lifetime to sail along the beautiful coastline of Sardinia and explore the natural islands and national marine park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena between Sardinia and Corsica.

The yachts are based at ‘Il Porto’ Marina in the harbour of Santa Teresa on the northern tip of Sardinia. There are changing and shower facilities in the marina, a selection of restaurants and a superb swimming pool with health and beauty centre. Supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias can be found in the town, approximately 1km away.

There is a choice of 8 boats ranging from a 31ft Beneteau Oceanis to a Pajot Belize 43ft Catamaran. All the yachts are maintained to a high standard with a comprehensive inventory of safety and navigational equipment. This is an excellent way for families or couples to explore the beautiful bays of Sardinia, with a skipper (compulsory for catamaran) for less experienced sailors or bareboat charter for advanced sailors. Prices from: £1040 per yacht per week.

There are numerous ports, marinas and sheltered natural anchorages along the coastline and out around the Maddalena islands. Water and fuel are available at the ports of Santa Teresa, La Maddalena, Palau, Cannigione and Porto Cervo on Sardinia’s north east coast, where supermarkets and a good selection of restaurants are also to be found. For the more adventurous, our base in Santa Teresa on the northern tip of Sardinia offers the opportunity to sail over to the French island of Corsica, to visit the dramatic port of Bonifacio, with fuel, supplies and restaurants and beautiful beaches to explore along the south east coast.

Huw Nurse MD of Just Sardinia comments "The best way to see the real beauty of the island of Sardinia is from the sea! Suitable for families, couples and friends, both novice and experienced sailors alike, yacht charter can offer an amazing holiday that you will never forget. For your added enjoyment, combine a week cruising the emerald waters of northern Sardinia with a relaxing week in one of our hotels, villas or apartments - my idea of a perfect holiday!"
