VIlla L'Arco and the Restaurant at the Tamoil Petrol Station!

I've just read the guest book at Villa L'Arco and as well as being delighted about all the positive comments , one thing that stood out was the Tamoil Petrol Station!!! Serving pizza's for 4-8 euros and also Sardinian specialities such as Zuppa di Cozze al pomodoro and Tagliata (beef served on a bed or rocket, cherry tomatoes and parmisan cheese)are some of the best and the cheapest we have found! Exclusive to Just Sardinia, Villa L'Arco is a charming private villa set in large gardens with its own swimming pool, located in the heart of the Galluran countryside in the north of Sardinia. Situated 3km from the small village of Bassacutena it is in the middle of nowhere yet equidistant between Santa Teresa and Palau for beaches, Arzachena for shops, banks and weekly market, and Tempio up in the mountains. The village itself has a few small shops for everyday supplies, a couple of café bars, Agriturismo (farm) restaurants nearby and the Tamoil petrol station!
